ACT leader David Seymour is defending the decision to allocate just 30 hours for public submissions on the Regulatory Standards Bill, calling it “the most consulted-on bill of the century” after multiple past introductions.
Critics, including Labour’s Duncan Webb and Greenpeace, argue the limited timeframe is an attempt to rush the bill through without proper scrutiny, with Webb calling it “insulting” and Greenpeace accusing Seymour of trying to “delegitimise opposition”.
Seymour dismissed many submissions as driven by “misinformation” from activist campaigns, insisting the select committee process is not a referendum but a tool for improving legislation.
Similar to Seymour (a Shabbos-Goy) stalling with a reporter when it came time for the Parliamwent to vote on Firearms Law & Code changes when proto-Communist / Masonic PM Jabby was in charge.
SEYMOUR IS NEVER TO BE TRUSTED!
The current Uni-Party and Coalition Government ‘led’ by the bald-headed Minion is NOT to be trusted…
The bald-headed Minion will not even reveal what was discussed in China or the recent meeting in Europe…
One can only guess that the bald-headed Minion was kowtowing to the Zio-Globalists, with their eventual plans to kill off most of us with wars, vaccines, released bio-chemical agents, and assassinations both in and out of prison.
To this end, the Minion will do his best to comply with Talmudic Noahide Law that the Zionist/Globalists will insist on imposing the same on the Uni-Party as they conquer their respective populations…

ACT have become a bit of a lame duck party, as far as this voter is concerned. I have voted for them once a while back as they actually had some decent policy (unlike some who don’t even know what that means) but wouldn’t touch them with the proverbial barge pole, these days.
Its not hard to make the argument either, that this action erodes the foundation of democracy, in favour of the opinions of the few. Not a good look guys.

The language of parliamentary bills is pretty much incomprehensible.
When making a submission, whether it be to local council, one’s member of parliament or the parliamentary website the time available is consistently short. Unless one is a full time lobbyist or secretary to a member it is highly unlikely that a proposed bill can be assimilated by the average human being.
The parliamentary website is simple to navigate, however, the technological interface is mostly incompatible, a phone is not suitable for typing any kind of submission and the mail service is no longer fit for purpose.
In the wake of the myriad publicised and unpublicised technological advances it does seem odd that so many words, paragraphs and obscure concepts be continually applied in the law making process.
Does this bill enable law making to be more transparent? No- it would appear to have the opposite effect.
We are faced with the concept of legislation to legalise the retrospective regulation of existing laws and regulations and those being brought to parliament, boundaried by a set of principles undefined in terms of human compatibility.
I believe this proposed bill to be unnecessary, in fact obfuscatory to the law making process itself in that it proposes to tie up all laws with an extra layer of bureaucratic tape with a regulatory board unanswerable to any but a minister for it’s own ends.
