Starmer warns global unity on “Climate Action” is gone but U.K is “all in”

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has warned that international consensus on tackling climate change has fractured, even as he pledged that Britain would intensify its efforts to meet environmental goals.

Speaking at the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, Starmer said the world is now divided over the pace and cost of action to curb global warming. “Ten years ago, countries agreed to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels,” he told delegates. “The only question was how fast could we go? Today, sadly, that consensus is gone.”

Starmer acknowledged that even within the UK, political and public resistance to net-zero policies has grown, with critics calling them too costly and difficult to achieve. Nonetheless, he maintained that pursuing “green initiatives” offers both environmental and economic benefits, describing them as a “win-win” opportunity.

“The greater our collective ambition, the more progress we make in tackling the climate crisis — and the greater the opportunities we create,” he said, urging renewed cooperation despite the growing divisions among nations.

  1. If you want people to be all-in fighting climate change, maybe first get all governments that have been involved, to admit they have been doing it, and stop all weather modification programs.

Then after a few years everyone can see what the real climate looks like and move from there, if it is actually needed

  2. An example of what you’re going to get if you vote, the Green party here in New Zealand.

Net zero means no car, no meat, 15 minute cities. no choice. Can’t recall anyone saying “thats how I want to live”. And even if you do, what’s stopping you from doing exactly that now?

The UK parliament has a 5 year term. The NZ parliament has a 3 year term. Soon there is going to be a referendum to increase the NZ parliamentary term to 4 years. Something about bringing us into line with other countries.

If NZ is going to change our political system, it should include options the citizens want and not a system that allows unelected politicians into government like the MMP does now.

Political parties choose who is going to be the Prime Minister, not the people.

Furthermore, only referendums like polls on matters genetic engineering, overspending. A system where as if a political party did not campaign on it, yet creates and votes it into law then the people have the right to accept or block. Such systems are used in other countries and those countries are much happier than we are now.

No one campaign on digital Id, gps tracking in cars nor digital money. Such systerms gives Government full control and surveillance over its citizens. It removes privacy.

Why is it such political leaders like Starmer stay in power when the people fall out with his unwanted policies?

  4. As much as I hate and loathe Bill Gates at least he admits his money making scam is not going to be the money maker he foresaw so this explains it is a scam and fool you if you can’t admit your loyalty to climate change is wrong.

  5. The globalists are losing ground, as people slowly wake up to their techno-autocratic agenda, mired in terms like safety, pandemics and climate change.Enjoy your time in office mate, I dont think you will be getting a second go round.

  6. Unfortunately Sir Keir Stalin is a heady mix of moron, sinister, creepy, lawyer, technocrat, closet homosexual and communist.

Possibly not the best choice as it’s turned out.

  7. Sir Keir Stalin/Starmer is quite obviously retarded.

Hopefully there’s legislation already in place to remove him/her/it/twit/whatever.

The Unlawful PM Retard Act 1876 might just cover it.

    • These people are all “selected” precisely because of their bloodline connections and/or psychological flaws. The game is rigged in favor of our feudal overlords.
