Pro-Palestine protesters, estimated by legacy media at close to 10,000, are marching through Auckland’s CBD demanding the government impose sanctions on Israel.
The demonstration began at Aotea Square at 9.30am and will conclude at Victoria Park, with organisers highlighting the scale of public support. NZTA is working with Auckland Transport to provide real-time traffic updates, while Police say motorway disruptions are not expected but are closely monitoring the event as crowds move down Queen Street.
