Jet Fuel shortage in time for Christmas
Meanwhile, the Maritime Union has told state-funded legacy media outlet Newshub that a ‘bad batch’ of aviation fuel has forced airlines into rationing on the eve of the holiday season. According to the report an off-specification load of around 25 million litres of jet fuel had to be returned overseas for refining after the closure of Marsden point.
