Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is weighing retirement after 12 seasons, with the team reportedly setting a soft deadline of March 14 for his decision, according to The Athletic.
The date aligns with the start of free agency and his $11.5 million roster bonus due on March 15.
On his New Heights podcast, Kelce, 35, admitted he is feeling the toll of a long career, citing the physical and mental strain from years of deep playoff runs.
Despite a storied career with 10 Pro Bowls, over 12,000 receiving yards, and three Super Bowl appearances, his performance dipped this season, marking his first sub-1,000-yard season since 2015.
