Oscar Piastri took a commanding win ahead of McLaren teammate Lando Norris, while Max Verstappen dropped from fifth to 10th after receiving a 10-second penalty and three penalty points for a collision with George Russell, putting him one point away from a race ban.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium, and home favourite Alonso scored his first points of the season in ninth.
