Chiefs winger Leroy Carter will make his test debut on the left wing as one of five changes to the All Blacks side facing South Africa on Saturday.
His inclusion sees Rieko Ioane omitted for the first time this season, while Damian McKenzie starts at fullback and Will Jordan shifts to the right wing.
Noah Hotham earns his first test start at halfback, with Ruben Love added to the bench, and Samisoni Taukei’aho replaces the injured Codie Taylor at hooker.
Head coach Scott Robertson said the reshuffle offers Carter a “special occasion” and praised his speed and skill ahead of another sell-out clash with the Springboks.
Kick off is at 7.05pm on Saturday, Sky Stadium, Wellington.
