Trump given rapturous welcome at Super Bowl, Taylor Swift booed

President Donald Trump attended Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans today, becoming the first sitting president to do so.

His presence was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, especially when he was shown on the stadium’s jumbotron during the national anthem.

Prior to the game, President Trump engaged with fans and players, notably shaking hands with Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones on the field.

In contrast, pop star Taylor Swift, attending the game to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, faced a different reception. When Swift appeared on the jumbotron, a significant portion of the crowd responded with boos. Swift appeared taken aback by the reaction but managed to laugh it off.

Swift arrived at the event accompanied by friends, including rapper Ice Spice and the Haim sisters.
