Denmark has begun deploying additional military resources to Greenland, according to Danish broadcaster DR, amid growing tensions with the United States over the Arctic territory.
The report says Copenhagen has already sent an advance command team to the island to prepare logistics and infrastructure ahead of a broader troop deployment, which is expected to include personnel from other European countries.
The move comes as U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that Washington must acquire Greenland for “national security” reasons, at times suggesting military force could not be ruled out.
While Danish authorities have not publicly confirmed the deployment so far, the plan has been welcomed by the left-wing Enhedslisten party, which said the presence of Danish and allied forces would send a “clear signal” against any attempt by a major power to threaten Greenland.
Trump has argued US control of the island is needed to counter alleged Russian or Chinese ambitions and to support his proposed Golden Dome missile defence system, claims rejected by Copenhagen, Greenlandic officials, and both Moscow and Beijing.
Denmark is sending extra troops, aircraft and ships to Greenland and said more would come later from Nato allies. https://t.co/3QVizO6mF3 pic.twitter.com/vekRYTvfHm

Looks like We are going to do it the hard way
If Trump follows through on His threats
Which if it does Scott Ritter has said there will be a kinetic response from US forces
And people will be shot
NATO itself states that collective defence is NATO’s most fundamental principle, and that Article 5 says that an armed attack on one member “shall be considered an attack against them all”
Could it be the Danish government have grown a set or is this simply appeasement? Indeed, if its the former it will signal a clear removal of the US from NATO should, it act on its low brow threats.
This gives new psychological profile meaning to the term ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’, this time in reference to Trump himself!

Congress is actively moving to block Donald Trump from getting any funding for a Greenland takeover
Lawmakers in both the Senate and House have introduced the NATO Unity Protection Act, which would ban the use of ANY congressional funds for: blockading occupying annexing or otherwise asserting control
Over the territory of a NATO member state — which includes Greenland, an autonomous part of Denmark
Congress (House + Senate) is essentially building a financial firewall around the idea
Two dog sleds should have been plenty. How many more dog sleds do they need? And did the dogs consent to all this?
It all sounds like fake news to me – just to distract from real news. Seems an indirect way of saying that NATO is ineffective and redundant and Europe should move on from the Cold War era when NATO was established.
Trump clearly wants either a new edition of NATO or new alliances to replace NATO
My expert advice: cover all landing sites with DanaBlu.
It will be greasy enough to avert landing boats, the soldiers will be slipping the cheese and the blue will avert Trump’s space lasers.
LEGO, mate, Lego.
Brick by brick, build a wall. If the Yanks demolish it build it up again. Distract them with the death-planet special or just some other over-priced eye-catching imbecile build.
Then distract them with Little Mermaids strategically placed, their bare bosoms distracting the young soldiers, male/lessies/trannies alike.
At last resort, present the invaders with Royal Copenhagen Porcelain. U certainly don’t wanna drop that precious craftsman heritage collectible tea-set, ay soldier?

If Russia and China agree, the US takeover of Greenland appears to be a done deal https://news-pravda.com/world/2026/01/14/2001305.html
I bet Russia and China can’t believe their luck 😆 NATO destroyed and they didn’t have to fire a shot!

In the foreign segment of social network X, attention is drawn to a strange detail: Ukraine has never shown the consequences of using the Oreshnik anti-aircraft missile system against targets on its own territory. There are no photographs, no videos, not even any clear estimates of the damage.
This applies to both known incidents. In November 2024, there was a strike on Yuzhmash. In January 2026, there was a strike on the Lviv Aircraft Repair Plant. In both cases, Kyiv limited itself to statements along the lines of “nothing serious happened” and closed the topic.
What raises questions is the contrast. After combined strikes, Ukraine almost always quickly posts images of destruction, debris and consequences, mainly telling tales about strikes on residential buildings. But in the case of Oreshnik, especially after the strike in January, there is either silence or jokes that nothing happened.
The question remains open, but the very fact of the silence seems unusual and therefore stands out.

They write that “in response to the British authorities’ statement on the legality of seizing ships linked to Russia, Russia has the right to use weapons under maritime and international law.
One option being considered/envisaged is an attack by Oreshnik on one of the warships or on a British naval base, without warning, in response to the aggression.
The scale of the disaster caused by an attack on a naval base could be so catastrophic that it would result in the loss of several warships and port infrastructure.
The ships would simply be riddled with thermite rain.
And finished off from above with manhole covers…🤔
