Republicans demand Joe Biden strengthen border security amid concerns over the increasing number of illegal immigrants entering the United States.
An illegal immigrant involved in a fatal truck crash in Colorado had been deported multiple times, according to immigration officials.
Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza, a 47-year-old Mexican national, is accused of causing a deadly accident on June 11 while driving a semi-truck on Interstate 285 near Conifer, Colorado. The crash resulted in the death of 64-year-old grandfather Scott Miller and serious injuries to another person.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) revealed that Cruz-Mendoza had been deported or voluntarily returned to Mexico at least 16 times. Initially charged with vehicular homicide, Cruz-Mendoza now faces charges of careless driving resulting in death and injury. He is currently held on a $50,000 bail in Jefferson County Jail. Authorities believe Mendoza was speeding and lost control, causing his truck to spill its load onto five other vehicles. Mendoza, who was driving for Monique Trucking at the time, had a prior deportation order following a 2002 drug conviction in Oregon.
This incident is part of a series of high-profile arrests involving illegal immigrants.
Recently, Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez, a 23-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, was arrested for the murder of Rachel Morin in Maryland. Hernandez is also a suspect in a previous murder in El Salvador and the assault of a young girl in California. Additionally, the NYPD recently apprehended a 25-year-old illegal immigrant from Ecuador, accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a Queens park.

This issue has been created by the US’s mainstream political party’s but people still vote for them. The democrats, for example, engineered the NAFTA agreement, which has had an horrific impact on Mexico. It left people unable to find work and as a result they felt compelled to the USA, where they have been exploited as cheap labour. Many other Latin American nations have faced similar outcomes as a result of US meddling, so of course, people flee to the US, too. Of course, no ones saying “NO” to cheap undocumented, easily exploited and replaced labour, either.
The US needs to close its borders but also stop meddling in other nations, as this is a core cause of illegal immigration. Comprehensive Federal laws need to be enacted to stop hiring of illegals. For that to happen US voters need to stop voting for the uni-party.
