King Charles and Pope Leo made history by praying side by side in the Sistine Chapel — the first time leaders of the Church of England and the Catholic Church have done so since the Reformation.

Beneath Michelangelo’s Last Judgment, the two men led a joint service celebrating unity and nature, offering the King and Queen calm amid renewed scrutiny over Prince Andrew.

Their visit included symbolic stops at St Paul’s tomb and the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls, reconnecting the English monarchy with its pre-Reformation roots.
