U.S. President Donald Trump has encouraged protesters in Iran to continue demonstrating and, if possible, take control of state institutions, pairing the call with a promise of American support and sharp warnings to Iranian officials.
Speaking to the Detroit Economic Club and echoing the message on his Truth Social platform, Trump urged “Iranian patriots” to keep protesting and to document the identities of those responsible for violence against demonstrators. He warned that officials involved in abuses would ultimately “pay a very big price.”
Iran has been rocked by nationwide unrest since late December, initially sparked by a collapsing national currency. The protests have since escalated into deadly confrontations with security forces. While Western media and activist groups claim the death toll runs into the thousands, Trump said he remains uncertain about the true number of casualties and stressed that any response would depend on verified information.
Asked to explain his statement that “help is on its way,” Trump offered suggested assistance could take different forms. He pointed to new tariffs imposed on countries doing business with Iran, describing them as economic pressure that would not benefit Tehran. He also declined to rule out military action, citing past US operations in Venezuela and the killings of senior militant leaders as examples.
Iranian authorities have repeatedly accused the United States and Israel of orchestrating or encouraging the unrest, characterising it as a foreign-backed campaign to destabilise the country. Tehran has warned that any direct US intervention could prompt retaliation against American forces in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Washington has raised its security posture, with the US State Department advising American citizens in Iran to leave immediately due to the risk of detention and the potential for rapid escalation. Similar warnings have been issued by several other Western governments.
Russia has criticised Trump’s rhetoric, accusing the West of exploiting Iran’s economic crisis to engineer a “colour revolution” and condemning threats of force as unacceptable interference in a sovereign state.
Airstrikes incoming this weekend.
Im picking a land invasion of isis and mossad from the north, similar to what happened in Syria. Thats the only direction they can come from as south, west and east iran is protected by impaasabke mountain ranges. The insurgents will have some territorial gains in the first few days, maybe within reach of tehran, which is not that far from the border, but will be eliminated quickly after that. Without Starlink they are f***ed. Expect Russian airforce to bomb the insurgents. Once the Syria style invasion is repelled, trump will order airstrikes then but then he risks Iran shooting down some aircraft and iranian missles hitting israeli cities and us warships. The holes in iranian air defences in the 12 day war will have be addressed.
Benny Netanyahoo will go down as the worst US president in history
I read over 50 mosques were burnt down. No Iranian is going to burn down a mosque but Mossad gladly will. It has become increasingly apparent as evidence emerges that this was not an organic protest of the Iranian people. It started as a small protest by some traders over the currency but, like the parliament protest during covid, it was hijacked by outsider violent thugs many of whom were armed and pumped high on meth
The moron said over a week ago that the U.S. Is ‘locked and loaded and ready to go’ https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/583081/trump-says-us-will-intervene-if-iran-violently-suppresses-peaceful-protests
Now he says “help is on its way,”
Does anyone smell manure?
Locked and loaded last week but the morons have nothing to aim at yet https://en.ypagency.net/382138
CBS news in America reported 1 million people protested against the Ayatollah in Tehran. That has now been shown as false as the 1 million were marching in support of the Iranian government. It’s true the government in Tehran is not popular (show me a western government which is popular), but there is no way they will support a Zionist US puppet running the country and US control of the country. Iranians of all persuasions supporters or opponents of the government will absolutely unite to stop that from happening.
That sounds pretty desperate from Trump. If the Iranian people wanted to topple their government it would have happened by now.
The so-called protests have fizzled out and it’s been comprehensively exposed now that the rioters were violent paid Mossad infiltrators , not the Iranian people, andPompeo even tweeted that. What this shows is that neither the usa nor Israel are confident they take out Iran militarily. Any attack on Iran will result in the bombardment of Israel They have to rely on these subversive tactics instead but it has failed. Trump is now in a trap because he now has to take military strikes. Deep down I believe Trump doesn’t want war but the Zionists have him by the balls and are wanting their pound of flesh which he better deliver or he will end up like JFK.
Doesn’t he mean Mossad and CIA assets, seize Iranian institutions? Oops sorry, they have been rounded up and arrested.
