The United States has sent at least one aircraft carrier toward the Middle East, according to Fox News, following days of unrest and riots inside the country.

Anonymous military sources said the vessel could be the USS Abraham Lincoln or another carrier recently departing from US ports, adding to an existing regional presence that already includes multiple destroyers and littoral combat ships.

The reported deployment comes as Iran faces protests over economic collapse and currency devaluation, unrest Tehran has blamed on foreign interference.

U.S. officials told American legacy media the buildup is intended to “set the force,” allowing Washington to rapidly launch offensive or defensive operations if ordered, while separate reports suggest Trump is weighing a short, decisive strike rather than a prolonged conflict.

Regional allies have reportedly urged restraint, warning of wider instability and oil market disruption.
