Norwood Primary School in Eastleigh, Hampshire, has cancelled its annual Easter service and bonnet parade out of “respect for diversity” while planning to celebrate “Refugee Week” in June, sparking backlash from the local community.
Headteacher Stephanie Mander stated that the decision was made to create a more inclusive atmosphere that honors the beliefs of all children and families.
However, the move has drawn criticism online, with some parents expressing concern that Christmas celebrations could be next to face the axe.
Critics argued that inclusivity should mean celebrating all traditions rather than removing them altogether.
In a recent Ofsted inspection, the school was rated as “requiring improvement,” prompting some to suggest that the focus should be on academic performance rather than ideological changes.
Despite the controversy, the school aims to become an “accredited school of sanctuary” by celebrating ‘Refugee Week’.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Th 2:11-12)

Pay close attention to the lyrics.
Using their own asinine parlance, Christianity “is” part of “diversity”. But then, this is not about genuine diversity in any way, shape or form. Its about homogeneity, adherence to a rigid narrow philosophy, akin to Fascism, only worse again.
Spot on.
“Christianity “is” part of “diversity””
Would you please elaborate. I think this needs nuance.
It certainly needs explaining… 🤔
But it is ” diversity” who should respect other people beliefs !!!
Shame on the sharia schoolmarm!
