The world’s longest vehicle convoy is heading towards the Canadian capital of Ottawa.
An estimated 50,000 trucks and 1 million plus people are predicted to enter the capital over the weekend to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s mandates and COVID policies.
The convoy is receiving strong roadside support thoughout the country as it makes its way to the capital.
Legacy mainstream media are ignoring or downplaying the size and impact of the convoy.
12,000 trucks from the USA are to join at various points along the way.
The convoy is the first real sign of trouble for Trudeau as previous protests though well-attended and vocal, have been localised.
Trudeau’s office announced he will be ‘self-isolating’ when the truckers arrive, having been a contact of a known Omicron case.
Trudeau’s self-isolation announcement has surprised many, given he is triple-vaxxed and COVID negative, leading many to believe he is ‘chickening out’ from meeting with trucker organisers.
Instead of addressing trucker concerns, Trudeau is attempting to stoke social division by claiming Canadians are frustrated by the protest, and labelling protesters a ‘tiny minority’.

Trudeau’s excuse of self-isolation has been labelled the ‘greatest act of cowardice by a sitting PM’ in the nation’s history.
Highway cameras were temporarily turned off and roads closed due to ‘atrocious weather conditions’, as the government attempts to derail the protest. However, the weather was clear and sunny on the crucial Highway 17 in Ontario.

Part of the massive western trucker convoy headed to Ottawa has landed in Thunder Bay, Ontario where some truckers will be spending the night before getting back on the road tomorrow.
