Charlie Colin, the founding bassist of the American rock band Train, has passed away at 58, as confirmed by his sister.
The cause of death remains unclear, though it’s reported he had a fatal accident in a shower in Brussels.
Train, which formed in 1993 and soared to fame with hits like “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey Soul Sister,” paid heartfelt tribute to Colin on Instagram, praising his character, musicianship, and early contributions to the band’s success.
Colin, who left the band in 2005 but continued his musical career, was remembered as a significant talent who helped shape the band’s early sound and success.
