Large-scale study suggests possible link between Pfizer COVID jab and coronary artery disease

COVID heart study news

Study of over 115 million people finds possible link between Pfizer COVID-19 ‘vaccine’ and coronary artery disease.

A large study published in March 2025 has raised questions about a possible link between Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and an increased risk of coronary artery disease (CAD), especially after the second dose. The study, led by Dr. Raheleh Karimi from Iran University of Medical Sciences and published in the International Journal of Preventive Medicine, reviewed data from 15 controlled observational studies covering more than 115 million vaccinated individuals.

Using Bayesian multivariate meta-analysis, researchers found a significantly higher risk of CAD after the second dose of Pfizer’s BNT162b2 vaccine, with an odds ratio of 3.44. No similar risk was found for Moderna’s vaccine.

The observed CAD risk was limited to Asian populations, suggesting a possible regional or data-source bias. The authors warned that this association should be interpreted with caution, as the studies were observational, not randomised trials. The increased CAD risk came from just five studies in one region, and key information such as age, underlying health conditions, and third-dose effects was limited.

The researchers recommended stronger cardiovascular safety monitoring in future vaccine development and pandemic planning. The study had no industry funding or conflicts of interest.

  1. Cleveland clinic (and many others) say 50% of patients with myocarditis don’t usually survive more than 5 years. And those that do seldom survive 10 years.
