Hackers have demanded a ransom of NZD $104,000 after breaching the Manage My Health patient portal over the summer break, exposing the medical data of tens of thousands of New Zealanders.
Speaking to The Post, the company confirmed the cyber-security incident was a ransomware attack, with the attackers seeking US$60,000 (NZD$104,000) to release the compromised data. A decision had not yet been made on whether to pay the ransom.
Earlier reports suggested up to seven percent of its 1.8 million users, around 126,000 patients, were affected, and acknowledged the risks involved in paying a ransom, including the possibility of further extortion. Manage My Health holds sensitive information such as test results, national health numbers and communications between patients and GPs.

Digital ID’s and currency, everything on line, “such” a good idea, right? Only an idiot would submit to such measures, much less want them. Time to stop voting for short sighted, controlling, globalist fools.
I hear ya.
The carrot on the stick is ‘convenience’, where they conveniently can digitally steal, rob, impersonate or delete you.
I will never ever succumb to digital whatever because I, as an analog being, am totally alien to digital or Ai systems. Anything digital is by definition anti-human.
Especially digital currency.
Gee, I wonder if they have any embarrassing data about the clot shot and the related harms?
Obviously yes they do.
But they wont be publicising it.
Interestingly many of the people working in government are fully aware they’ve been poisoned by their employer but will never mention it for fear of losing their jobs.
For example 90% of HNS workers in the UK are refusing FLU/Covid jabs.

Centralised Digital ID. Obviously a very stupid idea.
Looks like Judith Collins has some explaining to do.
Ranson demands for private health data?
I fear that the internet may have entirely lost it’s way.
As it’s turned out It appears that ‘Smart Technology’ is actually highly stupid.
Ughhh my GP clinic forced me to make a Manage My Health account! I held off for as long as I could. Even changed to a different clinic. Then was told I could only access medical info that I needed, or book GP appointments, through the app, so I caved. I suppose we can’t opt out and shut down our accounts once we are in? Argh
