“Police were called to the two-vehicle crash about 6.15am.
“Sadly, one person has died.
“Two people have moderate injuries.”
The motorway was closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination, and has now reopened.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
