A pharmaceutical representative collapsed in the Oval Office on Thursday while US President Donald Trump announced a new agreement aimed at reducing the cost of popular weight-loss medications.
The man, initially reported to be Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Finlay, suddenly fell while standing behind Trump during the event. Novo Nordisk later clarified that Finlay was not the individual involved.
Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich said Dr. Mehmet Oz, now head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, helped the man to the ground and prevented injury. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later confirmed the individual was “okay.”
Earlier in the briefing, Trump revealed that drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy would soon be available at significantly lower prices. Under the plan, developed with Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, the new ‘TrumpRx’ website will launch next year to expand access to GLP-1 medications. Oral versions could cost as little as $149 a month, while injectables would be priced at $245 for Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Going for a walk will cost even less again and not see your system flooded with drugs……
One would have thought a pharmaceutical representative would have the good sense to avoid taking hia firm’s product.
“Pharmaceutical drugs, particularly prescription medications, are a significant cause of death in the United States, with prescription drug deaths surpassing those from illicit drugs. For instance, in Florida, the rate of deaths caused by prescription drugs was three times the rate of deaths caused by all illicit drugs combined” – according to my AI server.
