Winston Peters says New Zealand has formally notified World Health Organization (WHO) that it has rejected the proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations.
In a statement made today on social media, Peters said New Zealand informed the WHO Director-General through New Zealand’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, invoking Article 61 of the International Health Regulations to officially decline the amendments.
He said the decision reflects New Zealand First’s long-held position that health decisions affecting New Zealanders should be made in Wellington rather than Geneva.
Peters added that his party had campaigned for full rejection of the amendments, saying it had promised to prioritise New Zealand’s national interests, preserve sovereign decision-making, and resist what he described as global bureaucratic influence, and that promise had now been delivered.

If that is the case, NZ should withdraw from the WHO.

There should be a multi question referendum held on election day in November to gauge how citizens feel about certain issues. One of the obvious questions that should be asked is whether New Zealand should withdraw from the Bill Gates funded World Health Organisation.
Other suggested questions:- Should New Zealand ditch the monarchy? Should New Zealand declare neutrality?

He should have ben calling for the covid shot to be halted on day one after election. Even as part of a coalition agreement. He is all about himself, this call included, though it is a good move. It is most likely just about getting back in for his ego, not about what is best for the plebs.

What a difference an election year, with a paper thin margin between a second term and defeat makes. I think too, they know darn well New Zealanders have had enough of this globalist medical tyranny and the “push back” may be more than their lilliputian government and its enforcing agencies, can cope with.
The irony is if they actually did what people want more frequently, they could stay in office indefinitely. No one wants the dictator Liebour slugs, slithering back into office, with the God awful CGT and no doubt hate speech laws in hand.
