On Friday, 17 May 2024, esteemed leaders in their fields, Professor Ramesh Thakur and Dr David Bell, will join Reality Check Radio for a special, one-night-only event in Auckland Central.
During the evening, they will discuss their concerns surrounding the World Health Organization.’s new pandemic treaties and what they mean for you, New Zealand, and the health of humanity.
The event will take place in Auckland Central on Friday, 17 May.
Limited parking is available onsite, with additional street parking accessible on surrounding streets.
The venue address will be emailed 24 hours prior to the event. Doors will open at 6 pm, with the presentation beginning at 7 pm, and RCR are asking attendees to be seated by 6:55 pm.
There will be an audience Q&A session from 8 pm, and the event will conclude at 8:30 pm. The venue is wheelchair friendly.

Ramesh Thakur is a former United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, and emeritus professor in the Crawford School of Public Policy, at the Australian National University in Canberra.
David Bell is a public health physician and biotech consultant in global health. He is a former medical officer and scientist at the World Health Organization (WHO), Programme Head for malaria and febrile diseases at the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) in Geneva, Switzerland, and Director of Global Health Technologies at Intellectual Ventures Global Good Fund in Bellevue, WA, USA.
