As Christmas approaches it is a busy time in the garden for many, early planted crops are now being harvested or coming towards maturity.
The first ripe tomatoes are picked and salad crops should also be ready to use about now.
Yesterday I had a long chat over the phone with a 86 year old male gardener whom is fortunate to have a good sized section and able to grow most of his vegetables.
Now on his own he told me that he spends much of his day in the garden where he obtains peace and pleasure, weather permitting.
He told me how superior the taste of his vegetables are and when he gives his surplus vegetables away; people can’t understand how delicious his crops are in comparison to what they buy in the supermarket..
The reason being is that he grows his plants naturally with animal manures and home made compost and compost tea.
The plants are not forced to grow faster with high applications of nitrogen as seen in commercial crops.
This means the vegetables create their own natural defense systems against diseases and pest and take in all the minerals provided such as Ocean Solids, Fish Fertiliser, BioPhos, Unlocking Your Soil, Calcium & Health and Magic Botanic Liquid.
Vegetables grown commercially grow on dead soil which means no soil life, microbes and earthworms, because the heavy use of man-made fertilisers has killed the soil life.
The plants then grow in what could be described as ‘dry hydroponics’ and they are not healthy.
Then the cleaners of Nature; the insect pests and plant diseases attack the sickly plants and to save the crop from holes or blemishes they are sprayed regularly with several chemical controls.
The plants recognise this, so they have no need to try and protect their sickly selves as it is done by the grower.
When vegetables (and other plants) grow without heavy chemical protection, they rely more on their own built in defenses, which include:
- Secondary metabolites a broad group of non-nutrient chemicals plants make mainly for defense, such as phenolics, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, and glucosinolates.
- More specifically, these are grouped under terms such as defense chemicals, antimicrobial compounds, or phytoalexins (defensive substances produced or increased in response to attack)
Now I am going to let you into a little secret that the pharmaceutical companies do not want you to realise.
These natural chemical defense systems are what give you excellent health protection when you eat the vegetables that are grown naturally.
Your body takes in these non-nutrient natural chemicals which are used by your immune system to likewise protect you.
We talked about days gone by like in the 50’s and 60’s where most of the vegetables were grown by market gardeners that were mostly Chinese.
What they used was real blood & bone from freezing works that they purchased in ton bags.
(This is different to the blood & bone that is generally commercially available today which is very little blood and likely no bone flour instead a lot of chalk). Real unadulterated blood and bone is very dark in colour and has a distinct odor.
Many people will recall back then (50’s, 60’s) when you purchased a cabbage and cooked it, it would stink the house out. That was the sulphur from the blood used to grow the cabbage that caused the smell.
Cook a purchased cabbage today and you would not even know it was cooking without looking.
People were far healthier back then and slim and trim.
Our food chain has been sabotaged!
Now having very little goodness and too many poisonous chemicals, which is a major factor in peoples health today.
Make Food Your Medicine because that’s what our bodies need to function perfectly.
The cheapest and best way to obtain all the goodness that vegetables can contain is to grow your own.
Sections today are smaller and in many cases, apartments or retirement homes where there is little or no land to grow any thing then one needs to grow in containers or veggie pods etc.
To get the goodness out you need to put the goodness into the growing medium and that is done by adding a little of Wallys Ocean Solids, Unlocking Your Soil, BioPhos and Neem Tree Powder.
just a pinch of each into the planting hole or spread across a growing bed. Spray plants once or a twice a week with Wallys Magic Botanic Liquid with Mycorrcin added.
Then with ample sunlight and water with non chlorinated water, you can grow some Health, naturally.
There is a chemical poison in commercial produce called glyphosate.
I read today the following…In a long-overdue move, Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology has formally retracted the landmark 2000 glyphosate “safety” review by Williams, Kroes, and Munro , a paper Monsanto and global regulators have relied on for decades to assert that Roundup poses no carcinogenic risk to humans.
Crucially, the Editor-in-Chief confirms that Monsanto employees likely secretly wrote substantial portions of the paper, despite never being listed as authors or acknowledged a revelation uncovered through U.S. litigation.
The retraction states that the article’s integrity has collapsed entirely, citing undisclosed corporate authorship, omitted carcinogenicity data, financial conflicts of interest, and a complete failure by the surviving author to respond to the journal’s investigation.
The review’s “no cancer risk” conclusion relied solely on Monsanto-generated data. Even worse, the authors ignored multiple long-term mouse and rat carcinogenicity studies that already existed at the time including multi-year toxicity studies showing tumor signals. None were incorporated.
Alas we are faced with deceptions like this all the time.
Promotions to ensure Corporate greed.
You can read the full disclosure article here.
Glyphosate is likely in some parts of our food chain which many are not aware of such as seed oils which come from GE crops that are sprayed with glyphosate to kill the weeds while growing or sprayed with glyphosate prior to harvest to make seed collecting easier from the dried out plants.
Root crops such as some kumara types, carrots and potatoes. (Easy to check as if they wont sprout after harvesting they are full of glyphosate.)
I must state not all of the ones mentioned are glyphosate contaminated but without trying to sprout them you have no idea if they are or not.
