Forest boost survival hopes as Spurs slide toward relegation trouble

Nottingham Forest strengthened their fight for Premier League survival with a commanding win at Tottenham, as goals from Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi secured a crucial result that lifted them three points clear of the drop zone.

The victory saw Forest move above Spurs into 16th place, leaving the hosts just one point above the relegation places and deepening concerns around interim manager Igor Tudor, who has now lost five of his seven matches in charge.

Despite a strong first half from Tottenham, Jesus struck in stoppage time before Gibbs-White capitalised on poor marking after the break, and Awoniyi sealed the result late on. Spurs’ poor run continues, with no league win since late December and six defeats in their last seven games, leaving their top-flight status under serious threat with only seven matches remaining.
