NZDF going to ‘Talisman Sabre’ military exercise with one drone

Talisman Sabre news

New Zealand is sending 680 Defence Force personnel to the major ‘Talisman Sabre’ military exercise alongside Australia and the US, which will feature autonomous weapons, digital combat networks, and a controversial missile system that has drawn criticism from China.

While the NZDF aims to become a more “lethal” force, resource delays mean the deployment includes only one drone, used for surveillance.

Officials admit capabilities remain largely unchanged since 2023, but say digital communications and joint command integration with allies have advanced.

The exercise underscores growing regional militarisation, with New Zealand and Australia under pressure to ramp up defence spending amid evolving US Indo-Pacific strategy.

  1. I got a small drone for last Christmas it gets up as high as the house but the batteries dont last that long and they fall out when I try and land it. But my Dad reckons we could fit one of those small cameras onto it and it would be able to see over things. But we are no very rich and cant afford after my Dad ended up in a wheelchair and cant work anymore from all those injections he had to have to keep his job. But why did those injections stop my Dad from working. I hope you guys did not get any of those horrible injections or the whole Army will be in wheelchairs. Anyway my Dad said you guys can borrow my drone if you want to if you think it will help with your big ‘Talisman Sabre’ exercises and stuff.

  2. These drones can be as big as a small car. Uses include carrying and spraying. pesticides over farms. It appears military use includes surveillance and a delivery wepoin like a devastating attack on Russian warplanes. Those drones were secretly delivered into Russia across multiple locations . When activated the drones carried out their attack. That attack would not have been possible without US technology and control. There will be a response. It will be equal to that and aimed at those responsible.

Heres the thing. Russia isnt a third world power. It is a superpower with endless resources. It’s ally is China. Another superpower with even more capability and an open door policy to Russia’s rare earth metals.

Are we in NZ to get involved? Defence budgets across the west are all going off the charts. NZ is rearming and will contribute fully to what is coming.

The super rich people want world domination and they will use our young fit youth to fight and die for their greed.

All military scenarios reveal nuclear wepons are unlikely to be exchanged until there is no other choice , no other wepon that can achieve the same result. That can halt an invasion.

This is what Trump talks about when he is trying to settle things in Ukraine. He has mentioned WW3 on a number of occasions. He has mentioned the devastation these wepons do. How advanced they are since Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  3. Where exactly is ‘Talisman Sabre’ being held?
Could a dose of the below wake the naive, old and decrepit Generals and Admirals up to reality?

Home-made weaponised high-powered lasers and EMP microwave-boosted disruptors are now the weapons of choice…for home defence, and do NOT require a Firearms Licence!
