U.S. ‘finds’ over one million additional Epstein files for public release

U.S. authorities say they have ‘uncovered’ more than a million additional documents that may be linked to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with plans to make them public in the coming weeks.

Prosecutors in New York and the FBI have notified the Department of Justice about the newly identified material and handed it over for legal review. The department said teams of lawyers are now examining the documents to apply legally required redactions aimed at protecting victims.

In a statement, the Justice Department said the sheer volume of records means the review process could take several weeks. It added that the agency is acting in line with federal law and President Donald Trump’s directive to release all relevant Epstein-related files.

Officials did not explain how the FBI and federal prosecutors discovered the additional documents.

The development follows the release of thousands of Epstein-related records last week, many of which were heavily redacted. Those documents were made public under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed by Congress and signed into law last month, which requires the disclosure of records while safeguarding victims’ identities.

The initial release sparked criticism from lawmakers across party lines, who argued that too much information had been blacked out. The law allows redactions only to protect victims or ongoing investigations, and explicitly bans removing names or details solely to prevent embarrassment or reputational damage.

Lawmakers have also demanded the release of internal Justice Department communications detailing who was investigated, and why decisions were made to pursue or drop cases involving Epstein and his associates.

Among the first batch of documents were internal FBI emails from 2019 referencing 10 potential co-conspirators, six of whom were reportedly served with subpoenas in several US states. The identities and possible roles of other individuals connected to Epstein remain a central concern for victims and transparency advocates.

Thank you FBI for all this transparency 🫶

  2. None will be more disappointed than the deranged lefties if they can’t find the most obscure reference to hang on Trump. The corrupt mainstream propagandists are making this their front page news and dismissing everything else. Only the delusional can’t see this.

  3. The corrupt scumbag FBI are slithering around NZ, thanks to our disloyal post nationalist, globalist government(s).This is another example of their true loyalty, not to the truth and any notion of justice but their allegiance to elites. Its no different, here in New Zealand, with our so called police and judiciary. Who you are, is more important, than what you have done.
