16th Annual NZ Forum on the Family to feature impressive lineup of international speakers

Family Forum NZ 2024 news

Preparations are underway for the highly anticipated 16th Annual New Zealand Forum on the Family, set to convene on Friday, July 5th, at the Due Drop Events Centre, 770 Great South Rd in Manukau.

The event, a cornerstone for family-focused organisations, scholars, leaders, and individuals, aims to catalyse social change in New Zealand, advocating for strengthened families, marriages and protected life.

Following the success of last year’s sold out event, organisers urge people wishing to attend to register promptly due to high demand.

This year’s forum will be preceded by a Gala Celebration Dinner on Thursday, July 4th, featuring a 3-course banquet dinner with guest speaker Lyle Shelton. Limited spaces are available for the exclusive event, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals before delving into the main forum discussions.

The forum boasts an impressive lineup of international speakers set to address critical social issues:

  • Chloe Cole (USA)Cole’s journey from transitioning to de-transitioning at a young age has ignited conversations about gender-affirming care for minors. With a personal narrative that challenges conventional wisdom, Cole will discuss her experiences and advocate for bans on such care.
  • Melissa Ohden (USA) – Ohden’s remarkable survival story following a failed abortion attempts to shift perspectives on abortion. As the founder of The Abortion Survivors Network, she tirelessly advocates for the rights of abortion survivors and their families worldwide, aiming to make abortion unthinkable through her advocacy work.
  • Maggie Hamilton (Australia) – Hamilton, a prolific writer and researcher, will shed light on the pressing issues of youth anxiety, isolation, and entitlement. Drawing from her extensive body of work, she will explore the root causes of these phenomena and offer insights into equipping younger generations for a better future.
  • Katy Faust (USA)Faust, the founder of Them Before Us, champions the rights of children to be raised by their biological mother and father. Through her global movement, she highlights the importance of marriage and family in safeguarding children’s rights, challenging societal norms that seek to redefine the traditional family structure.
  • Jonathan Haidt (USA)Dr. Jonathan Haidt, a renowned social psychologist, will contribute to the discourse via a Zoom interview. His expertise in analysing the impact of social media on teen mental health and political dysfunction will offer valuable insights into navigating the challenges of the digital age while safeguarding the well-being of future generations.

For those interested in attending either the Gala Celebration Dinner or the main Forum on the Family, organisers Family First recommend early registration to secure a seat.

  1. If the public would only know the dismal and broken state of the NZ Family Court system.
To say the least, it is a TOTAL DISGRACE.
Children have to wait YEARS until ‘justice’ is served. The procedures are insanely costly, time consuming, frustrating and totally inadequate.
The apparatus is full of bias against fathers. Procedures are heavily skewed against them. Mothers can obtain protection orders at the sleight of a lie, find co-conspirators in ‘womens refuge’ centers, usually receive legal aid for their scam and usually do not need to worry about keeping a job and paying the bills and mortgage. On top of all that, mothers then generally stay on the social benefit gravy train for years to come, one of the main incentives for this child abuse.
Therefore it is no wonder that nearly every third child in Godzone grows up without a father. The web is full of horrible stories of fathers being ousted from their important role. The subsequent social fall-out of youth delinquency, truancy, immorality, drug use, psychological problems, teenage pregnancies, crime etc. is obvious and statistically abhorrent. Godzone is leading internationally in all the wrong places.
Will this broken Family Court system be discussed, let alone fixed, at that posh annual forum?
    Surely not!
Have a gob-smackingly great Gala Celebration dinner.

  2. Just watch as all the enabled freaks come out of the woodwork to harass this event, whilst the compromised police do nothing and the courts let any who, by some miracle are arrested, off with a warning, if even that.
