North & South magazine pauses print to focus on digital reboot

North & South magazine news

Long-standing current affairs magazine North & South has announced a temporary halt to its print production to prioritise building a robust digital platform, aiming to return in early 2025.

The decision comes amid stagnant advertising sales and increasing pressure to adapt to a digital-focused media landscape.

Launched in 1986 by Warwick Roger and Robyn Langwell, the magazine has faced challenges, including ownership changes and declining sales.

Currently under School Road Publishing North & South hopes to leverage its brand equity to secure its place in the digital world while pausing print operations for the first time in nearly four decades.
