The NZ Breakers suffered their sixth consecutive loss in the Australian NBL, falling 111-94 to the Adelaide 36ers on the road.
Despite staying competitive for three quarters the Breakers were outscored 33-18 in the final quarter, dropping to second-to-last in the standings with a 7-9 record.
Co-captain Parker Jackson-Cartwright led the Breakers with 25 points and eight assists, while Tacko Fall contributed nine points and 10 rebounds.
But Adelaide’s Kendric Davis stole the show with a game-high 36 points and nine assists, supported by Montrezl Harrell’s double-double.
The Breakers now prepare to return to Spark Arena in Auckland on Friday, where they hope to end their skid against the Sydney Kings.
